treasured gift.

I apologize for my lack of presence here. Life has been overwhelming in a number of ways. My sob story is no different than anyone’s though. I really don’t understand how you ever catch your breath when life just continues to get busier? Everyone I know is overworked and exhausted. What gives? I have so much to write about, just don’t know where to find the time especially since my calendar is booked til Christmas. Literally. I have been busy posting on my other blogs though! If you’re bored at work, loft3 & beautiful beginnings.

Annnywho, I just wanted to thank all the XU girls for giving these gifts to us. They sent off Ali’s casket and funeral roses to be made in to these beautiful rosaries. I just love it so much that I can’t decide if I should actually use it or preserve it in her memorial box? I’m torn. Isn’t the color is amazing, I just LOVE it. THANK YOU!!

Oh, and that tat is my first and only. It is supposed to take the place of the pink bracelet one day. 🙂

Happy Wednesday! Love, Mel.

  1. use it. use it all the time. it will always remind you of ali and her being in heaven!!and when it comes down to giving it to your kids or grandkids, they will have memories of you with it, praying with this special rosary – hopefully all the time! 🙂 They will treasure the fact that it was worn and used rather than kept in a box untouched….
    just my 2 cents.
    LOVE YOU!

      • Others went as far as accusing Elvis of merely making covers of other artists’ lyrics and for profiteering
from their creative work without giving them any due
acknowledgement. In many cultures around the
world, the first form of poetry were sang and not
written. Personally, I have found such competitions to be
a very negative force, causing undesirable friction between artists.

  2. We are all so grateful to the XU girlfriends for the beautiful rosaries. Ben, Olivia, Brittany, Melanie, Aunt Lisa, Kevin and I cannot thank you all enough. We love them and will treasure them always. The first rosary said will be in thanks for the friendship you each shared with Allison. None of you could have done more for her. Love to each of you. ……Denise
